Reflecting on the Journey: The Tools I Wish I Had at the Start of My Career.

🔹 Data Mastery: When I started my career, the flood of data I encountered was overwhelming. I had mountains of information at my disposal but lacked the skills to manage, analyze, or visualize it effectively. Fast forward to today, and with training in data analysis, coding, and visualization, I am far more equipped to turn data into decisions. It’s like having a Swiss Army knife in a digital world!

🔹 The Art of Saying No: Early on, I said yes to every meeting invite—regardless of its relevance to my work. This left me scrambling, always playing catch-up instead of producing results. Now, I use a simple but powerful “Must,” “Could,” “Kill” list every week to prioritize my tasks. Pairing this with focused sprints on key topics helps me and my team solve issues quickly and spend our time where it counts.

🔹 Recharging with Catch-Ups: Post-COVID, the importance of mental health and wellness has never been clearer. For me, the simple act of catching up over coffee with friends and colleagues has become my secret weapon for rejuvenation. It’s not just about staying connected—it’s about staying balanced.

Looking back, these tools have not just changed the way I work; they’ve changed how I live.
