Teaching a college course in eBusiness to the new generation is like holding a mirror to the past while pointing toward the future.

My students have grown up with innovations that many of us watched unfold over decades—they’ve never known a world without the internet or instant access to information.

When I talk about the transition from 10-year-old encyclopedias delivered by mail to microfiche, to web searches, and now to generative AI, I’m met with curious eyes. For them, the journey began with Google and has naturally evolved into tools like ChatGPT, making it hard to grasp the revolutionary shifts that have paved the way for these technologies.

As we navigate this course, it becomes clear that it’s not just about mastering digital tools. It’s about understanding the profound changes that brought us here and imagining the future they will help shape.

We’re not just exploring eBusiness—we’re exploring history, innovation, and the incredible potential of what’s next.
